Money on her mind

One day Addysin asked why dad had to work all the time. I told her so he could make money so we could buy food. Today when he was leaving she asked him, "you have to go make MORE money?" Then just now she came and asked me, "how can I make money like dad?" I told her that she could pick up her toys really well and I would give her money. She thought for a minute then said, "can you print me some money on paper?" I guess she doesn't want to work for her money.

**When Chris got home I told him about this and he said he had told her one day that he was going to work to print money :) Ooooooh, thats where she got the idea.

February

February 9th- 7 weeks. How could I be showing that soon?! I thought I had twins.

Leftover Halloween candy. We even had leftovers after using it for our stockings! This was a reward for Addysin reciting scriptures that Chris taught her. She memorized 2 Nephi 32:3 and the 1st & 2nd articles of faith! Caiden would get a treat too for her efforts :)

At the time, Caiden loved the movie "The Three Mousketeers" with Mickey Mouse in it. So when he found out there was candy named 3 musketeers, I dont know if he really loved the taste or the name. Its always the one he picked.

A kitten we found on the farm. The kids love it here!

On Valentines day we do a tradition from Chris' family called the "Secret Sweetheart", which is us. But the tradition is that she comes and leaves a gift on the doorstep on Valentines Day. We hadn't gotton anything yet, so we went to town and I got them their gifts and the Secret Sweetheart appeared at Chris' office (so that Chris could take part). I got flowers! That was a surprise.

Caiden was ready for a nap

Addysin lost her pony from Santa so she got a new one!
Caiden got Lightening McQueen and Doc Hudson. He was obsessed and took them everywhere. He lost them a month later.
For our date, my sisters babysat. We tried to go to Olive Garden but  the wait was so long that we decided on Taco Bell. Sounds crazy, but it was one of the sick pregnant women cravings I was having. It was SO good. I think Chris was wondering what was wrong with me. Then we went to my froyo, which is so good.
Since I didn't get Olive Garden earlier, Me, Bryan, and the kids went for lunch on his birthday. Its a tradition for us on his birthday (when we are in the same state).

Chris turned 27. Addysin loves celebrating birthdays! We bought him balloons and she drew on a card for him.
On sunday morning we woke up a little early to make a big lunch and she spent an hour drawing this!!
top line says "I (heart) U DAD", third line "ADDY" second line "SIN" (she ran out of space). fourth line "I (heart) U! and then cupcake balloons at the top and presents at the bottom.
I told her not to wake him up and she listened... until I went somewhere else in the house. She just couldn't wait to get his birthday started! We had my family over for lunch after church.
Chris went through an obsessive avacado planting period. Addysin always watched him. One night when he was gone I was making Guacamole. She said she had to plant it. She got all the supplies out and did it just like dad!
My nephew Nova's last basketball game of the season we went to. It was fun!
Afterwards we went to Dairy Queen for lunch. I LOVE going to lunch, and so do the kids. Chris works 6 days a week so I am always glad to get out on a Saturday with someone or have something to do.
 Our cuties...

BOOM! getting big, and fast! February 28th- 10 weeks. I had found out that week I was not carrying twins. Chris kept saying, "she (ultrasound tech) could've missed the other one!) I have been wearing maternity pants or pajamas since this point. Wow, I know. Dont worry, I think I've slowed down and look pretty normal now.
 Addysin steers clear of crust.
 I HATE LAUNDRY!

January

So my parents looked at a house during Christmas break that was 1.5 miles from where they were living on the farm. They instantly LOVED it and moved mid January. For us, that meant that we got to move into their old house- the house I grew up in! I never really loved where we were at in Richland because we never saw my family. They lived 30 min. away so we only went out there once every week or two. Plus, we didn't have a fun yard for the kids. Chris and I have always wanted to live out in the country where we grew up and were SO excited to be able to, and all of the sudden!

So January started normal, we didn't know we were going to move.
Girls night with Trisha and Amy!
Chris' yellow truck. The kids LOVE it!
Addysin said, "I look like Hannah Montana!" Okay?! She remembers everything she sees even once.

She LOVES to color and draw.

Her first time holding a baby on her own! She was very happy about that.

We left this view behind.

The bed I make on the floor every night so they dont have to sleep with us. Yes, they used to come into our room every night to sleep with us until recently (April). Addysin was/is much worse than Caiden. I would make the bed before I went to sleep and Addysin would be there in the morning, sometimes Caiden.  This pic is at nap time.

Just before we began packing, I found out I was pregnant!! I wasn't sick at all so I packed like crazy hoping that "today" wasn't my last day of good health. But let me tell you!! My lower back KILLED during all of the packing and moving! It was pretty painful at the end of every day.
It only took 4 months after having my IUD removed so we were really blessed. I buy my pregnancy tests at Dollar Tree. They work! I take one if I have a tiny symptom of pregnancy. I wasn't having any symptoms but felt like taking one. Negative. Like 3 days later, I was so anxious to take another one for no reason. I just kept thinking I was pregnant. Sure enough, I was. 4 weeks and 3 days (Once I had my ultrasound and they determined the due date, I calculated back and realized that). We are SOOOO excited. We got moved, unpacked and decorated in a few days and right when things were done I got sick! I was so blessed. And then to top it off, I was only sick for 2 weeks!

Here is my little mischievous boy. While packing he destroyed my wedding bouquet.  RRRRR. Serious, he can be such a stinker.

Oh, but he is so sweet too!

Caiden is saying, "ho, ho, ho!"

January 25- 5 weeks, my waste was already expanding! I thought I was 4 weeks further.
We have loved having family and friends over to our "new house" on the farm. Its huge and has a gigantic family room with a pool table, an indoor pool, and tons of space for the kids to run around and not bother me :) And outside we have a playground! Addysin LOVES LOVES LOVES this house. Whenever we would stop at our "temple house" for mail, she would freak out thinking we were moving back. And when she would misbehave, I would threaten, "we're gonna move back to the Temple house if you dont stop that!" Worked EVERY time.

Christmas!

Okay, I'm almost caught up with 2010! I am anxious to get done with all my posting!
This is what I made for Melissa and Ryan for our gift exchange.

We went to the mall so Addysin could ask Santa for a "My Little Pony" because she saw me buying one for her at Kohls so I lied and told her I couldn't buy it, but that she should ask Santa.

Caiden was scared.

Addysin was INFATUATED. I think this was her first crush. He was a super sweet Santa.

I told Caiden, "remember Santa on Mickey's Christmas?" and then he warmed up to him.

Caiden just being a goof. He pulled up his shirt on his own and it was pretty funny.

This is a coin from the times of Christ! Chris got it on his mission and gave it to his parents with a special note and story of "the widows mite".

Christmas Eve and Christmas were spent with my family, since Chris' parents live in St. George now. We spent the night. These are the Pajamas my parents got us on Christmas Eve. Two of My sisters weren't here, Melanie and Kara. John also wasn't here.

Newly Engaged

YES, I know... Soooo cheesy. This is the kinda of stuff you do with family.

Getting Santa's plate ready
This is all she wanted from Santa. Easy.
My Grandma Bleazard came to visit Christmas day.

Chris Made me my gift and wrote a very sweet letter. It made me cry, and I wasn't even pregnant.

Addysin and Caiden's biggest, best gifts were Woody and Buzz Lightyear from my parents. They were both obsessed with Toy Story. Actually 4 months later, Caiden still is just as much.

Our traditional wrapping paper pictures!

We went ice skating and I decided to let Addysin try. Caiden was jelous so I carried him around for a bit, then my mom took him shopping.Addysin had a hard time, but loved it. She just needed tons of help. After not too long, we just put her shoes back on and she walked around on the ice.

I haven't been snowboarding since before I had Addysin, so 5 years!!! And I have a really nice snowboard! I didn't have a baby, wasn't pregnant, and had my mom to watch my kids. It was perfect. So we drove 2 hours up to Bluewood for halfprice Wednesday (during Christmas break) and the little resort was so full that there was absolutely nowhere to park and we had no option but to turn around! We made a trip out of it though. Stopped at the famous (in our family) gas station and got their homebaked goodies in Dayton, then Drove around historic Waitsburg to look at all the cool houses. It was beautiful in the snow. My dad kept saying, "lets go take a tour of the court house!" None of us thought that sounded fun. Then we saw a park and Emily wanted to get out and play. It was so much fun! Especially since my dad joined us.

I was laughing soooo hard! Moms need days like this to feel like a kid again. It was a dissapointment about the snowboarding, especially since we had to drive 4 hours, but we made a fun day out of it.

For New Years Eve, we spent it at my parents with Melissa and Ryan's family, and Joe and Alanna. All the kids stayed up till 12:30!
