Chris' two favorite hobbies

1. Chris loves to buy tools at Home depot and work on our basement. He even worked on it on his birthday. I cant complain though because he is very productive when he's down there and I'm really excited to have it done.2. Chris bought a game called "rock band" that goes with x-box. You can have a guitar player, drummer, and singer. Its actually fun to play sometimes. Chris makes sure that he gets his daily practice in. As you can see he converted Addy's room into the game room this week. I dont know how I feel about that, but Addysin loves to watch. Look at her in her crib. Too bad you cant see her dancing. I usually dont support video games because they are a HUGE waste of time but at least he is kind of developing some musical talent.

Chris & Bryan's birthday party

Bryan (my brother) came to visit from Washington for 8 days. He got here on his birthday (2/18) and left on tuesday this week. Chris' birthday was 2/20 so we had a party for both of them. We had some friends over and had dessert. It was really fun.

This is so funny. Chris and I both wore those same shirts last year on his birthday! Funny huh? And NO we didn't plan to all wear cream that day.

Here's Bryan and Addysin. Birthday boys!

The delicious desserts. (I think I'll make cookies today)

14 weeks!

I guess I'm showing now. Chris thought I was blowing out, which I'm not. I'm definitly popping out sooner with this pregnancy than the first.

Addy getting her groove on

Addysin is such a funny girl to watch. She just cracks me up all day long. She decided she loves music, especially commercials and the part on TV shows at the beginning where the actors are shown and sometimes dance. I had to show everyone this. Watch her hands at the end, its hillarious. Well too bad she is so obsessed with our cheap little video camera (that is actually just a digital camera for picture taking which explains the poor qaulity). If she sees me recording her then that is the end of it and she HAS to hold the camera. So that is why this is being recorded from behind... I was being sneeky.

Here is another funny video of her. She is SOOO cute when she does this. Somehow she has already picked up on her motherly instincts. I couldn't figure out where she learned to rock and pat her "babies" untill today at church when she was very intently watching a mom with her baby. She has never liked to be rocked but I think she is figuring out that that is what mommys do and sometimes she will let me rock her. -P.S. She doesn't bite real babies.

Happy Valentines Day!

I Love Holidays! Especially ones that are places in the dead of winter to liven things up. Here's Addysin seconds after a really good nap. I love her. Chris & I are planning to go to the temple tonight after we have dinner here. Jessica is babysitting- thanks Jess.
We hope you have a happy day with your loved ones.
We Love You!!!
Isn't she the cutest little sweetheart?

All about our babies (because we're not exciting to read about)

A couple of weeks ago I started feeling a bit better... at least 60% better. Its been so great. I can do housework, cook, and take care of Addysin without making myself sick. Hopefully I will feel even better in the future because I still have bad days. I am 13 weeks along today. I got an ultrasound to determine the due date and it is August 17... 2 days after my birthday. I will put a picture on of our tiny baby soon. We are going to find out the gender in 7 weeks, and I'm very excited. I was really excited to get this ultrasound to see how many babies are insie of me. There's just one- whew! Any woman who has twins (or more) is very strong and I respect a lot. This pregnancy has been really different than the first. Does that mean its a boy? We'll see.

Addysin is developing so much. Her new favorite word is "uh-oh!" She LOVES to drop everything from her high chair and shopping cart just so she can say it. She has finally learned how to pull herself up on things. You're probably shocked (considering she is 14 months), but she is developing slow and steady. She loves to play in her crib instead of taking naps or going to bed. She sits, kneels, or stands and makes cute sounds that I cant get mad at. She still loves TV, maybe even more now, but I found a lot of educational stuff on "Comcast- On Demand" for kids so its working out really well for both of us. She is finally starting to like being snuggled. We love it.

Lazy Days of January

This month has been VERY uneventful for me. I am now about 11 weeks and I have been sick since Christmas so I spend my days taking care of Addysin and sleeping whenenver she sleeps.
<-This picture was taken at the beginning of January.
-> This picture was taken today.
I am starting to stick out. I just look like I've gained 10 lbs. (which I havn't by the way). You really cant tell much from the pictures though.

I would have to say January is one of my least favorite months out of the year. I have loved the beautiful snow covered ground that has lasted all month, but I just look at it from inside. Other people, such as my husband, who walks around campus in the freezing cold doesn't like the snow as much. I do hate that I cant wear my slippers to get the mail though. Anyways, we spend a lot of time watching TV and movies at night when Chris gets home from school and work. We got the 1st season of "24" from our friends and got hooked on that for a week. Addysin really enjoyed sitting in our bed with us till late hours of the night eating pop corn and playing with the remote controls. She found a new love for TV... I'm not sure if thats good or bad. It keeps her entertained while I lay in bed all day with "morning sickness", but it drives me crazy when she wakes up at 2:00 AM and crys untill I put her in bed between us with the TV on and muted with the remote in her hand. I usually wake up an hour or so later and she is asleep. She likes anything... Fresh Prince of Bel Air, HGTV, BYU-TV, football. Cartoons get her too excited when its bed time though.

Addysin has developed a fun personality. She is learning how to communicate through actions and noises. She says, "no, no, no" and shakes her head. She says, "cool", "dog dog", and "daddy". She likes to call everything daddy. She points to what she wants and that does make feeding her easier. She loves to squint her eyes to be cheezy, to fake cry, and to fake laugh (above picture). For those of you who aren't aware of her strange obsession, she uses the tag of her blanket as a pacifier. She started sucking on it when she was about 7 months and will only suck on that particular blanket. Its her comfort and the only way to get her to sleep. Thankfully it makes naptime/bedtime a breeze. I just lay her down with it and she closes her eyes. unfortunatley it is the only tag she will use and we discovered through buying 2 other blankets. I have to make sure it is not near her naptime when I wash it or I have a grouchy, tired baby untill its done.
Addysin still isn't crawling or walking, but her "bum scooting" is getting pretty fast. She now can get on all fours for a little bit and walk along furniture. The Doctor wanted me to take her to get a cat scan of her head because he is worried about the size of it (150th percentile), but I reassurred him that it runs in the Lee family. He didn't believe me. I think she is a really smart little girl and the only thing I am worried about is that her head doesn't fit through some shirts.

New Year, New BABY!

Happy New Year! This is going to be such a great year for us. First, I want to tell everyone that we are expecting another baby in August! We are so excited to have another and Addysin will have so much fun with a friend. Chris just started the business school at BYU and he really enjoys what he's learning about now. He also is getting ready for the summer with recruiting and training for summer sales. Addysin and I stay home and do mommy-daughter type stuff like dishes, laundry, make messes, clean up the messes, and grocery shop. We have a ton of fun together just hanging out. I've had a lot of pregnancy sickness but hopefully in a month or two I will be done with it for the worst part.
