Lazy Days of January

This month has been VERY uneventful for me. I am now about 11 weeks and I have been sick since Christmas so I spend my days taking care of Addysin and sleeping whenenver she sleeps.
<-This picture was taken at the beginning of January.
-> This picture was taken today.
I am starting to stick out. I just look like I've gained 10 lbs. (which I havn't by the way). You really cant tell much from the pictures though.

I would have to say January is one of my least favorite months out of the year. I have loved the beautiful snow covered ground that has lasted all month, but I just look at it from inside. Other people, such as my husband, who walks around campus in the freezing cold doesn't like the snow as much. I do hate that I cant wear my slippers to get the mail though. Anyways, we spend a lot of time watching TV and movies at night when Chris gets home from school and work. We got the 1st season of "24" from our friends and got hooked on that for a week. Addysin really enjoyed sitting in our bed with us till late hours of the night eating pop corn and playing with the remote controls. She found a new love for TV... I'm not sure if thats good or bad. It keeps her entertained while I lay in bed all day with "morning sickness", but it drives me crazy when she wakes up at 2:00 AM and crys untill I put her in bed between us with the TV on and muted with the remote in her hand. I usually wake up an hour or so later and she is asleep. She likes anything... Fresh Prince of Bel Air, HGTV, BYU-TV, football. Cartoons get her too excited when its bed time though.

Addysin has developed a fun personality. She is learning how to communicate through actions and noises. She says, "no, no, no" and shakes her head. She says, "cool", "dog dog", and "daddy". She likes to call everything daddy. She points to what she wants and that does make feeding her easier. She loves to squint her eyes to be cheezy, to fake cry, and to fake laugh (above picture). For those of you who aren't aware of her strange obsession, she uses the tag of her blanket as a pacifier. She started sucking on it when she was about 7 months and will only suck on that particular blanket. Its her comfort and the only way to get her to sleep. Thankfully it makes naptime/bedtime a breeze. I just lay her down with it and she closes her eyes. unfortunatley it is the only tag she will use and we discovered through buying 2 other blankets. I have to make sure it is not near her naptime when I wash it or I have a grouchy, tired baby untill its done.
Addysin still isn't crawling or walking, but her "bum scooting" is getting pretty fast. She now can get on all fours for a little bit and walk along furniture. The Doctor wanted me to take her to get a cat scan of her head because he is worried about the size of it (150th percentile), but I reassurred him that it runs in the Lee family. He didn't believe me. I think she is a really smart little girl and the only thing I am worried about is that her head doesn't fit through some shirts.

I love that picture of her squinting her eyes smiling! She is sooo adorable. I can't believe how big she is! I haven't seen her in so long. I'm coming to visit in March, so we'll have to get together!
PS. I'm mad that you've had a blog for this long and NEVER e-mailed it to me. You're busted.
