The first two weeks we were in Tri-Cities, we stayed with my family on the farm. I wanted to get the inside of our house painted before we moved a single thing in.
Well why not get a bunny the first day we live on a farm? Meet "Tiana". (Addysin was obsessed with the movie "Princess and the Frog", at the time.) Chris went to return the moving truck and came home with her. The week we decided we were moving the WA, he started talking about getting a dog. We even went to a pet store. He was craving a pet.
Every morning when Addysin woke up, I would tell her, "go find Grandma". So she'd go upstairs and I would go back to sleep :) A yummy breakfast was always provided.
Another bonus of being there... I would find my kids being bathed. Its like I had another me taking care of them!
Chris has been working crazy hours. He leaves home around 10 AM and gets home at 10 or 11 PM! Sales are going so good here. He's been working really hard and enjoying it. He is a unique person. He loves being a salesman. This is one morning before going to work. He was spending some time with the kids doing what they love more than anything in the world.
The 4-wheeler is the only thing he wants when we're on the farm. When a door is opened, he jets outside to it. He just sits there for long periods of time. One time was 45 minutes! He is such a BOY!
My cousin had twins. Boy and girl. This is at the blessing. Unbelievably, this is a small small small part of the Bleazard side. (Thats my dads side)
This is Joanna, Evelyn, and Daryl (with a bug in his eye). They also grew up here, and Daryl is Chris' partner with the branch here. Evelyn and Addysin are about the same age. AND they are going to be living close to us in a couple weeks. It'll be fun.
He honestly cannot get enough of these.
Cousin Nova, hes in 1st grade. They love each other. She follows him around. She was really into watching his Nintendo DS. And he gave her 4 poke mon stickers! What a good cousin.
Sibings. Caiden always thinks Addysin is trying to ruin his life. She is really good at giving him what he wants though. He's kind of a stinker, but a super cute one.
The hardest thing about all this moving has been adjusting for Addysin. Since we stayed at the farm for the first two weeks, she thinks that is our real home.
She says everyday, "I want to go home to the farm."
And I always say, "this is our home, our new home. See all of our stuff?"
And she acts like she didn't hear what I just said and continues whining.
Today she said, "I dont want our new home, I want to go home to the farm!"
Oh gosh. Its 25 minutes away. We cant go whenever she wants. And like it or not, thats not our home. It makes my parents so happy of course.
Well, like everywhere else in the US, this past week has been cooler weather. Its been raining for a few days. I'm bunt out of unpacking. Chris is always gone. We arent surrounded by neighbors with kids, and Addysin trys convincing me this isnt our home. We get a bit bored during the afternoon. Me bored? I think its time for another baby.
We seriously love being here though. It was a great choice. Its strange how we weren't even thinking about this move and one day Chris had the revelation to come here. There is no doubt in our minds whether this was a good decision or not. It has been a lot of work for both of us, but The Lord put us here.
