......his first birthday
On August 11th, Caiden turned one. Chris was out of town so Caiden got two parties. I had to do something on his birthday so we went to seven peaks with McKendra and Max. My good friends from home (Nataley, Brittani, and Kari) were in town so they also came, but my kids aren't allowed on the fun drop off tube slides so we split up. Sorry, no pictures of them. The one we took I am not comfortable posting on the internet.

A week later when Chris was home, we had a small party with Tyler, McKendra, and Max. I learned after Addysins one year birthday bash that huge parties for a one year old are pointless. These are the flowers Chris sent me for my birthday since he was gone that whole week.
He was SO excited about all of us singing to him. He clapped through the whole song. Addysin took charge and blew out the candles as soon as the song ended.

I got him and Addysin new sunglasses and swimming goggles. I had to return the goggles though because they were made for a premie- meaning they were tiny. I also returned these adorable aviator glasses because he almost broke them the first time he touched them so I figured we'll wait another year.
Addysin got pink aviator glasses so she could feel special. She did.

wow. Caiden and Max are getting so big, so fast!! We all need to get together. I am still sick with who knows what and when I am finally better we should go to olive garden and kid to kid like the good old days!
