I LOVE summer!

I've definitly decided (now that were aren't out selling during the summer for the first time in our marriage) that summer is absolutley the best time of year. -I dont want to make anyone feel jelous or sad that had to move this summer for sales. We defintly had fun times in N. Carolina, Minnesota, and Vegas. We just had to do it before noon, or after 10 pm.- Anyways, there is always something to do. We are busy busy. I hate January-April I have decided. We love being outside. Even Caiden throws a fit when we come inside. When I have nothing to do it is a relief so that I can clean my house and sometimes catch up on our blog. Being a mother to two is really what takes up my time, then comes fun, then house work.

Reunited...Now that Tyler and McKendra Berry are on summer break from school we've been getting together more. Our little guys are 2 months apart, Max is younger. Last Sunday we walked to Bridal Veil falls. Girls like to walk for fun, and we walk fast. The guys just tag along trying to keep up the pace :) The best double stroller ever for so many reasons. Graco duo glider. (Its terrible for jogging or off roading though, but that's what jogging strolling are for.) For anyone who is wondering why, I'll tell you because I don't want you to buy a dumb stroller. If you have a Graco infant car seat, it can click in the front or back so that your picky two year old can choose which spot she wants. And if you have twins then it holds both. The back seat lays down completely for a sleeping baby/child and the front partially reclines. Addysin has taken many naps in it. It has two umbrellas, two snack trays, great seat belts, tons of storage underneath, it can fit between clothing racks at stores, and through any door (unlike the wide double strollers), only takes up half my trunk, and weighs 25 lbs--yeah, that is a negative, but really any double weighs a TON. Pushing a limo around doesn't make you feel super cool, but that thing saves me every time I leave the house.
On a more negative note, Caiden has been teething bad! 8 teeth coming soon. Enough said. Poor poor little guy. I still love him to peices.

A bath always cheers up our kids. One night (the pictures below are NOT of that night)Caiden was fussing at 4:30 am so I went to check on him and he had a MAJOR poopy blowout. Not to gross you out, but he was rolling it in. I started the bath and hosed him down with the detachable shower head (which is a must have. We got ours at Home Depot). At the sound of the bath, Addysin comes in concerned that someone is having fun without her in the middle of the night, "I wa baff!" Chris, My 1/2 deaf husband doesn't hear anything so I let her in so she'll stop fussing. I was able to wake Chris up by shaking him so that he could help me get them back to bed. He was super confused what was going on. Caiden went back to bed, but Addysin "needed" breakfast so she ate while I did dishes and we went back to bed almost 2 hours later as the sun was rising.Of course I love them, even though they wear me out.

My parents made a quick, impromptu trip to Utah for my dads Aunt Shyrl's funeral. My Grandma Bleazard came since it was her sister in law. They stayed at our house for a night. I seriously love having family come.
For Jessica's 21st birthday we went to Denny's for breakfast before they headed back to Washington.
Grandma doesn't travel anymore so I was so happy she was able to come to our house.
On Saturday we picked up a new hobby and went camping! It was soooo much more fun than I ever would have thought. Chris and I have never gone together so he went and bought a tent and a couple things and we went up Provo Canyon to Camp Hope with Tyler and McKendra. We both have 1:00 church so we came back in the morning on Sunday.
We made DELICIOUS TIN FOIL DINNERS:
raw chicken strips (buy fresh chicken and ask the meat deli guy to cut it in fajita strips)
Carrots (cut length wise and thin)
Potatoes (small cubes)
onions (sliced)
Italian dressing seasoning packet (found on "dresssings" aisle)
cream of mushroom soup
Make everything small/thin so it'll cook faster. Mix in bowl. Put in foil. The thinner the layer, the faster it will cook. Wrap in about 4-6 layers of foil so its protected and be careful not to peirce it so you keep the soup inside. cook on prepared briquets 20-30 minutes. Flip halfway through cooking. Some (like Tyler) like it with Ketchup.

McKendra and I both bought a porta crib at Wal-mart for $45. That's a good deal, and its cute. its no Eddie Bauer but it serves its purpose. And of course Addysin wanted in on the action.
Our huge 7 man tent that takes forever to set up and take down. But while you're laying in bed you'll realize how cool it is.

Little red riding hood. She insists on wearing the hood and when it falls off she cant put it back on by herself.

Andrea that's funny we were camping in Provo Canyon Saturday night too! ha! We were up past Hope Campground a few miles! Rob's really gotten into camping and I'm trying to be a good sport but it's not my favorite activity. Love the campfire and tin foil dinners though! We'll have to try the one you did!

I have that same double stroller, different color that I got when Melanie was born. I will use it again more when the baby is born. Is that McKendra that had REALLY long hair? I didn't hardly recognize her except the name sounded familiar! I love camping too. I wish we were able to do it more!!

I just caught up on your blog-I was SO behind!! Too much to comment on, but WOWZA you've had a fun and busy summer! I can't believe how big Caden is getting!
I was sad you weren't home when I was in town! I got a message from you but it was all fuzzy and I couldn't hear anything! Anyway, I notice about once every couple of weeks that one of my kids accidentally calls your number-it's like one of the first in my phone. Sorry!! They just miss you I guess! :)
Glad you guys have had a such a fun summer. Love that picture of you wake boarding. :) Miss ya girly.
