October

One night when Chris was putting the kids to bed, he said "who wants to have a slumber party?!!" and the kids yelled, "YEAH!" and I said, "No, just put them to bed- in the OWN beds. just get them to sleep." Up till that time, Caiden didn't do well sleeping anywhere but his bed. And I thought Addysin would just play. I never heard a peep out of them. I couldn't believe they were being so quiet. I checked on them and saw this:

Unbelievable. And from then on, they have slept every night together. When they were being too rowdy and not going to bed, we would threaten to take Caiden back to his room. Sometimes we actually would. They would both scream and Cry for a couple minutes, then we would take Caiden back and tell them to go to sleep. They would right away.
One time when we took Caiden out of Addysin's bed because they weren't going to sleep. Caiden was screaming, "NO, NO, NO, NO!" and Addysin grabbed one of his legs as Chris was taking him away. She was screaming, "he said NO, he said NO!" I was so hilarious! Now they share a room.

I love that they are holding hands in this picture.

At our "old house" by the Temple, there weren't any houses across the road. Just lots of dirt. Honestly there wasn't anything to do at that house besides ride their bikes and play in the dirt. They would get FILTHY and required a bath every time they were finished. Caiden was always throwing dirt in Addysin's hair, as you can see:

We just loved the warm October weather. This day was Saturday General Conference. Chris and I listened to it in the garage while we painted some side tables. I made finger paint for the kids. They LOVED it. Good thing they thoroughly enjoyed it because they dumped it all.
Addysin said over and over again, "This is the fun day!" and "This is the funnest day ever!"

Caiden was so kind to stack the empty containers.

They smeared and rolled in the paint on the driveway.

Cleaning off
