Homecoming, Funeral, and Caroling

Homecoming
In December, my cousin Chelsea got home from her mission in Omaha, Nebraska. That night we all (Bleazards) went to a temple session, then to Red Robin.

Funeral
Chris' Grandpa Lee passed away from Cancer mid December. Due to poor health, he lived with Chris' parents for about 6 years. All of Chris' family was able to come to Kooskia, ID for the funeral except Anna (who lives in FL). The morning of the funeral, which was 4 hours away, we had a big snow storm. We had two cars going because Becca, Caleb, their boy Jackson, and Tony stayed with us. A couple miles from our house in Richland, Tony wrecked his! Thank goodness we were able to use my parents Suburban (4-wheel drive) and barely made it there in time for the Funeral!

 One night at my parents...
The kids love doing these flips with Chris!

Addysin's 4th Birthday

For Addsyin's birthday, December 7th, we had the party at my parents house. We made gingerbread ornaments. They were so cute (I thought), and I didn't even take a picture to show! After that we did presents, dessert, and went swimming.

We invited Melissa & Ryan's family, John's family, Alanna & Joe's family, Daryl & Joanna's family, and our nieghbor Carrie and her kids.

Look at that hug Addysin is giving Chris! She had a great day!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was awesome this year! It had snowed a ton and it really felt like the holidays were here. We  lived 25 minutes from my parents so in the snow would have taken a lot longer. We acted as though we were on vacation and packed our bags and stayed at least a couple nights, I cant remember. Kara and Adam came from Utah, along with Sara. Amy's new boyfriend (at the time, and now her fiance) came from California. We had a ton of people staying there.

Oh, I just remembered a small detail. John, his boys, and Adam had the flu so we cancelled with the rest of the Bleazards (our extended family) so we didn't spread it. Luckily nobody else got it. Even with only our family, we still had a lot of people and tons of food.

We went to "Tangled" in theathers with my mom and sisters. Missed the regular showing, so watched it 3D. This is the way Caiden was sitting for a long time :D FROZEN! It was a funny sight.

Chris didn't want to spend money on a Disney movie, so him and Greg hung out at the mall.
After wards, we went iceskating at the coliseum. We love iceskating!
And I dont like to be cold, as you can see.

November

We always decorate for Christmas the week after Halloween, preferably the day after. This is the most special part of decorating(below), when we get out the "special" ornaments that were given to each person every year on Christmas Eve. The kids LOVE to see their ornaments again.

Addysin discovered the photo booth on our apple computer. It is pretty fun :)
Nov. 19- sunny jacket weather, green grass...
Nov. 22- BOOM, snow. And it was super cold throughout Thanksgiving. We LOVE snow during the holidays so we were super excited. When it started snowing one night, Addysin kept saying, "I CANT BELIEVE ITS SNOWING!" She's so fun to have around.
She had been dying to make a snow angel all year long (she saw it on a movie).
I had to wrestle Caiden to get his snow pants on. And there was no way he would wear his snow coat. So dinosaur rain jacket and hoodie it was. This is the only jacket combo (2 layers) he has worn all winter.

They LOVED the snow. I had to keep Caiden out of it everytime we went to get in the car.
Drinking hot cocoa afterwards.
This was taken from our dining room! Beautiful.
We were afraid it was gonna melt so that night in the freezing cold wind, we tried to go sledding. Unsuccesful. And the week was so freezing, it definitely didn't melt, but the snow was frozen and crunchy so I'm glad we REALLY enjoyed it for a day.

I cut a bunch of my hair off. I cant remember how much though. I like it short.

Holiday Church outfits. Too bad the Holidays only last a little over a month :(
