"Celebration of us leaving" party

We went out with some neighbors for a "celebration of us leaving" party, as they called it :) We have never gone out with them because we just hang out at home or outside. We thought it would be fun to leave the community. We ate at Gloria's Little Italy in Provo.

Afterwards we went to Fat Cats for bowling.

Go Team!

We had so much fun! Afterwards we came back and had some of Sarah's homemade ice cream. She is the one that put the whole night together. Thanks Sarah!

Little Drummer Girl

Addysin learns a lot of cool, useful things from TV. She has learned all about drums from "Yo Gabba Gabba". She tells me the names of all the different drums. She isn't always correct but shes trying.

Springtime!

Last weeks weather was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!
And I love blossoms!

Caiden 20 months, Addysin 40 months

Farm Country

At Thanksgiving point there is a petting zoo kinda place called Farm Country. It had every farm animal and was a lot of fun. I had to drag Caiden from one animal to the next. He just thought "how can it get any better?" and every animal was better. I think he loved the place more than Addysin.

Addysin was scared of the ponies. I was too. I was afraid the little thing was gonna take a chop at them. Ponies are feisty! I know, we went through many growing up.

The best part of the day. They both wanted to keep riding. Good thing we are moving next to my parents with a whole farm of free animals!
Caiden scrounging for free corn to feed the chickens.

"Please dont bite me." jk I just caught her blinking.
But seriously the chickens would peck your fingers. It got the kids excited.

Sneaking in a nap

Addysin hates the thought of going to bed, or taking a nap. She definitly gets it from Chris. She doesn't need a nap most days, but she'll get so tired in the evening on some days the she ends up taking a late nap. Its hard because when she takes naps she goes to bed around 10-11:00. So I dont give her a nap, and she goes to bed around 8-9:00. Perfect. But a lot of days she falls asleep around 5:00 for a nap and wont go to bed until midnight!!! Here she is trying to act like she is reading, but actually hiding her face so she can sneak in a nap. These pictures were all taken within 1 minute.

Another day I'm working at the computer and I hear her pretending. All I hear is her talking really lightly, "oh no, lets hide, its scary" and she pretends to hide by my feet. When she continued to lay there not moving I realized she was asleep.

Our Basement

These pictures are long overdue. Chris finished our basement last August and I have LOVED it. He had help from friends. I thank everyone who gave their time and talents. Tyler, Jesse, Sal, David. Thanks for your knowledge and kindness. It has been my favorite part of the house. I loved the blue walls, the office space, the HUGE projector screen, and the play room. Its all undecorated now, but the memory lives on...

Addysin Longboarding

Thanks Rob!

Easter Outfits

Addysin and Etta are best friends. She lives next door. Its funny because Etta is Caidens age. She is a very social 22 month old. Everyday that shes outside she runs to our door and knocks and screams for "Addy!". Girls... so cute.

Princess Party

Addysin went to her first all girl, princess party. All of the girls were dressed up. It was so cute. It was Kylee's birthday (far left). They watched "Princess and the Frog" in our big clubhouse theather. During the songs they would all dance in front of the theather, by the screen. Little girls are so precious!
Addysin is OBSESSED with "Princess Tiana". Everyday when I style her hair, she says, "do it like Princess Tiana!" and everything has to be pink or purple like a princess. She will not wear this romber outfit from last summer that is teal because "thats Caidens. Its a boys!" But she loves green because its like a frog.

Easter

First thing Easter morn.

Open the blinds to see this...

As you can see, we were no so happy.

But on the bright side, the Easter Bunny brought a bubble machine!

And on the really bright side of things, the snow melted for the hunt!

Our next door neighbor, Sarah, put the hunt together. We had it right outside our front door. It was Addysin and Caidens first egg hunt.

The kids sat by each other on this step by their own free will and choice. It was cute.

Just call him "Slick Rick"... or "Peter Priesthood"

Caiden's wild hair before. I loved it, but people kept asking, "so... are you growing his hair out?" I dont know what that meant, but after much thinking, I decided to cut his wild hair off. I was nervous he wouldn't be as cute, but of course hes just as adorable. When I got it wet and slicked it down for the cut, Addysin came in and kept saying  with a big smile, "Caiden looks like a girl!"

After

March 2010

Chris went to Houston for 2 1/2 weeks in March. I cant remember what we did during that time because its been too long, but I remember it wasn't too bad doing it all on my own for that little while. Good thing our munchkins are so stinkin cute!

We went over to Kira's one day to craft. She cut our letters with her scroll saw for me. That was so nice of her. All I had to do was paint, deco podge, and sand... and take care of my kids. It took quite a few hours. Seven, if I'm remembering right. Heres Melanie, my neice.

My Mom and Amy came while he was gone. It was a short trip but so fun. We ate out and shopped. It was really nice to have company, and some help with the kids. And Addysin LOVES family.

My sisters, Amy and Sara

When Chris got back we had some "nice" weather. We wore sandals and coats :) Hanging with the neighbys.

Our gathering area outside our garage.

We even had ice cream. We were all trying to make summer happen right then.
