I joined her and ate some of the cookie parts that she didn't want. Honestly, who doesn't love cookies for breakfast? Maybe I'm just a sugar addict.

This is how exhausted Addysin was while we were in Vegas (p.s. we're back!). She has never done this before. I was doing dishes and she just layed down on the ground with her blanket and fell asleep. Getting her to sleep was really hard there because she would be soooo tired that she would cry and whine instead of falling asleep. I was so relieved when I saw her... it was one less thing for me to do.
The last week we were there I found all her favorite shows on Playhousedisney.com and she would sit there for an hour (at least) and watch. She wouldn't even press the keys. She LOVES "My Friends Tigger and Pooh", "Little Einsteins", "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse", & "Handy Manny". And I mean LOVES them. They are cute cartoons and not annoying. They also sing songs that she loves. Actually, she just loves any music.
Ok, look past the cute face and at all her wounds. First let me just say that I CANNOT take a shower without her bawling her eyes out because she wants in, even if I just gave her a bath 5 minutes before. So I have two stories, both happened this week. 1. In vegas we had a tub/shower and she would sit at the back and play while I showered (keep in mind that if Chris or I dont let her in she will try climbing in fully clothed). This incident happened with Chris. She was sitting there and a shampoo bottle fell right below her right eye and made it bleed. Chris was yelling for me and I was so scared, but it turned out to not be that bad. It surprisingly didn't swell up, nor did she get a black eye.
2. Then 2 days later, back in Utah in our stand up shower, she cryed and cryed so I let her in the shower. Happy as can be, she stood up and took a step on the slippery ground and face planted on her lip with her front tooth. The spirit told me it was going to happen 2 seconds before and I ignored it. I frantically dried us off and she was screaming. Her mouth was full of blood. I thought "how am I going to get to the hospital like this" (Chris wasn't there to help us). I let her suck on a wet rag and that helped. Then she suddenly stopped crying and was tasting the blood. She was nodding her head in approval (thats what she does when she likes something tasty). Her lip instantly had swelled up and she obviously couldn't feel it because she was biting it and making it worse. I have never been so thankful for the blanket she sucks on than I was right then. That was the only way I could get her to stop biting it. So anyways, it stopped bleeding pretty quick and she fell right to sleep. Thank goodness. By morning the swelling was gone.
Ok, you think she has learned that showering is dangerous with us? NO, of course not! She still crys like she is going to die through my whole shower. But dont worry, I dont give in anymore.
Here is another reason I'm not sleeping top notch. Just look at the pictures...
We are staying in the living room of our friends Jamie and Leo while I'm here in Vegas for a couple of weeks. Its not bad at all but just not like having a bedroom, and seperate from Addysin. We have a super nice air mattress with a memory foam mattress topper so its super comfy. Everytime addysin lets out the smallest cry in her sleep though I wake up (and its A LOT during the night). We have this nice little cutout that is "her bedroom" and our place for all of our stuff.
I want to show you Chris' side of the family, The Lee's, but we dont have a picture. We are getting one though in July when we have a family reunion. I'm really excited.
Wow, I cant believe how warm/hot it is here. Its instantly summer for us. I think its usually somewhere around 75-90 degrees and always sunny. We've been to the pool a couple of times but the water was too cold so I didn't put addysin in. We just hung out outside of the pool and blew bubbles. This is her beach chair that she fell off of too many times so we'll wait a couple more months to pull it out again. she really loves it though.
And for fun we stuffed her swim suit so she could be like the big girls. She liked it and wanted me to put all 4 of the squishy balls in her swim suit.

She LOVES to dip. This is a blueberry bagel with cream cheese getting dipped in prunes... weird.

Cute little stander. Its so weird to see her stand by herself. This is one of the shirts She wore last summer! She used to be in the 90 percentile for her weight and now she is only 28%.
Family picture with baby @ 22 weeks.

In the Limo.
Heres the stage at the show. Those sheer curtains would go up and down. The floor moved in different shapes and different stuff would raise out of the ground like cars, a telephone booth, a bed, people, just all kinds of stuff. Also a lot of big stuff would come down from the ceiling as well.
On Saturday the managers had a meeting so Jamie and I went to the pool for a couple hours. It was so beautiful. It was a huge garden and the weather was so warm. I cannot believe that 5 hours south of here it is summer weather. It is hard to be back in cold and dead Utah. At least spring is close! That afternoon we went to the mountain west basketball championship game where BYU played UNLV and we lost in the last few minutes. That night the managers had another meeting so the girls went shopping. Afterwards we walked so far down the strip and saw some fun stuff like the Bellagio water show and NY NY. Everyone except me rode the "Manhattan Express" roller coaster because I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't be good for the baby. They loved it. I love my baby though so I didn't feel left out at all. We had walked so far down the strip so we took a bus back to the hotel.

At the water show. It goes every 15 minutes and is sincronized to music. Its like watching dancers and firworks all mixed together.
At Ny Ny with Leo, Jamie, Ben, & Rachel.
On Sunday we drove back and got to pick up Addysin. I missed her so much and dont want to leave her ever again. But to be honest, I had so much fun just doing what I wanted to and only worrying about myself. It was the most relaxing, fun weekend I have had in... well I cant think of anything that compares to it. I'm so happy to be back to being a mom though. And even though Utah is not as warm right now, we're both glad to be back home and doing normal things.Apparently head-banging is a natural instinct. We definitly did not teach her that one. The x-box in her room has actually turned into a blessing for me. Daddy & Addy have bonding time while I blog. Love it. I also love that I can put videos on here.
Big news. Addysin crawled all the way up the stairs tonight by herself. I wouldn't call it exciting news since she has NO IDEA how to go down. Its super scary.

She loves anything I love. One of my weird pregnancy cravings has been skittles. She just loves any candy.
Sometimes she will put so many in her mouth that she has to spit them out... no self control.
She loves to be in the pantry. Sometimes she will shut herself in there in the dark. Surprisingly she doesn't get scared.
