My 25th birthday...

On a Sunday... blah would be the perfect describing word. I had to teach the Mia Maids (which, by-the-way, I am a Mia Maid advisor in Young Womens) at church, which is not my favorite thing to do as my thoughts dont come out of my mouth very smoothly while teaching. My family made me a delicious cheat worthy earthquake cake! MmmMmmMmm. We went to my grandma's so I could get out of the house.

Grandma went back to her room, and came back 5 minutes later with earings and a necklace. She said, "sorry, I didn't have anything for you, but I got this in Hawaii and want you to have it." Awe, what a sweetheart!

Chris got me a Vita Mix!!! I have been wanting one of these super turbo blenders for so long!

My family took the kids overnight so I could sleep in, go shopping, and to lunch with Chris the next day. That was the best part of my birthday! Oh, and the part where me and four friends went to dinner at Olive Garden that week. I had a BLAST with them. It was the best girls night I've have in so long. Nobody had a camera though :(

Caiden's second birthday!

Chuck E. Cheese's of course! Our kids LOVE that place. 4 boys and 1 girl came, along with their parents and some of my family. He has quite the collection of friends here, but he's not really the age yet to enjoy them. He sure enjoyed the awesome gifts everyone gave him though. Little 4-wheelers, motorcycles, cars, remote control car, puzzle, balls, & backpack.

Caiden thought he wanted to see Chuck E....

then he freaked out.

Addysin gave him the biggest hug though, all her idea too. I was SOOO surprised.

Chuck E. Cheese's... the happiest place on earth... if you live in the Tri-Cities.

Of course my baller husband broke the record. He's so hot.

Caiden and Keenen figured out how to get the balls in.

Caiden thought putting the token in was half the fun. I had to watch him closely with his money. He would put tokens in any slot, then run to the next.

Addysin was pooped, she fell asleep on the way home while chewing a tootsie roll.

I just put a blanket over his gift (power wheels 4-wheeler type thing). He knew what it was and got on it before he took the blanket off! It was so funny. He LOVES LOVES LOVES 4-wheelers and motorcycles.

Addysin took control, and Caiden didn't even get mad! I was surprised.



Thanks to everyone who made his day special. He had so much fun.

I love our little guy so much! He is turning into such a sweet boy.

Oregon Coast & N. California

We took a trip with my family to the Oregon Coast the first week in August. We were headed down to Yreka, CA for my cousin's wedding and made a fun trip out of it.

Just before we left for our trip, Caiden smeared 12- hour lip stick in his hair like gel. I got a good amount out, but (not kidding) there was pink on his scalp for 3 weeks!

We stopped at a famous waterfall on the way to the coast. Multnoma Falls.

Addysin is O.S.E.S.S.E.D. with her cousin Kailey. She copies EVERYTING Kailey does. I'm sure in this picture she was looking to make sure kailey was smiling.

We got to the coast late that night.

The next day we went to an awesome outlet mall in Lincoln City.

It is beautiful there, and VERY overcast. It was the hottest time of the year (August) and I was cold most of the time. It was in the 50's.

AHHHHH.... warm weather! We got to CA and we there for 2 days.

 Melanie was the flower girl for Mary Anne's wedding, so they asked Melanie's girls to be the flower girls for Casey's (Mary Anne's daughter) wedding. Melanie made their dresses and they looked so cute!

Got to see my cousin Coleman too.



July

My sisters and Kaitlyn stayed over one night. The next day we went to the splash park at Columbia Park.Addysin and Caiden switch roles when it comes to showers. Caiden DOES NOT like getting his head sprayed. Addysin loves it. Addysin prefers showers and Caiden always thinks he wants to shower with her, but its one of the only things I can think of that scares him to death.

We went to Chuck E. Cheese's  for no reason one night. This kids (Chris included) LOVED it! It was actually a ton of fun! We (meaning Chris) won like 800 tickets and got them a tool set.

Chuck E. Cheese was all that Addysin could talk about so we made this sticker chart. Earn 50 stickers= Chuck E. Cheese. She had just got potty trained and was still scared to go #2, but knowing she would get a sticker if she did was perfect motivation. She would go like 4 times a day! She would push so hard her face would go red. Easy girl! Kids will do amazing things to get a sticker.

We went to the Moses Lake water park. Its quite the drive, like 1 1/2 hours to the nearest water park! I dont know why nobody has the brains here to start one in Tri-cities. It was a ton of fun. We took 3 of my sisters and they each brought a friend.

Rainy summer days are so refreshing! Love the coolness in the middle of July. Sometimes the kids eat on the balcony. Usually when I have just cleaned the floor and want to enjoy it clean for a few more hours.
